Jason M. Whiteside is a founding partner of Whiteside & Goldberg, Ltd., an aggressive and highly responsive personal injury law firm headquartered in Chicago, Illinois. Since co-founding the firm in August 2010, Jason has dedicated his legal career to fighting for the rights of victims and their families. He brings over two decades of fierce advocacy to clients facing life-altering incidents, operating with the firm belief that every injured individual deserves top-tier legal representation. Before establishing the firm, Jason operated a successful solo practice with two offices across the Chicago area. Today, his firm manages offices in both Chicago and Shorewood to provide accessible, dedicated representation across Cook and Will counties.
Throughout his career, Jason has successfully secured tens of millions of dollars in compensation for his clients across multiple state jurisdictions. He aggressively prosecutes complex cases across a broad spectrum of practice areas, including personal injury, wrongful death, medical malpractice, construction negligence, products liability, and motor vehicle accidents. Known for his strong moral character and hands-on client care, Jason also specializes extensively in claimant workers' compensation claims, ensuring injured workers receive their rightful recovery under Illinois law.
Jason earned his Juris Doctor from The John Marshall Law School in 2004 following a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of St. Francis in 1999, gaining admission to the Illinois Bar that same year. His commitment to legal excellence has earned persistent recognition from peers and industry publications alike. He was named an Illinois "Rising Star" by Super Lawyers and Chicago Magazine for 14 consecutive years (2010–2023), a distinction reserved for the top 2.5% of attorneys under 40. Furthermore, he has been annually selected to the Illinois Super Lawyers list from 2019 through 2026 for his high degree of peer recognition and professional achievement.
Deeply committed to the communities he serves, Jason leverages his professional platform to give back through various civic and charitable avenues. He and his firm routinely support local infrastructure and public services, sponsoring initiatives like mass transit throughout the entire State of Illinois to strengthen community safety and accessibility. Additionally, Jason actively engages with Chicago’s broader legal community to promote equal access to justice, supporting pro bono and civic initiatives like those organized by The Chicago Bar Foundation to assist vulnerable populations across Cook County.
